Dear Loved Ones,
The following is the poem that came out of my heart on Holi-Dhuleti. Of course, it is sad and philosophical, but do not assume or extrapolate that I must be crying!. I am as strong as I have been and doing things that will help future generations and I feel happy about it. But I thought I should share with my loved ones all my creative activities. હોળી
વ્હાલી તારા વ્હાલની પળ મેં સદા ઝંખ્યા કરી
તુજ યાદોની મીણબત્તી મેં સદા બાળ્યા કરી
નવ કદી હોલાઈ એ જીવનના વંટોળ મહી
એ ઝળકતી રહી સદા તુજ મધુરા સ્મિત સમી….વ્હાલી તારા
ન લાગે એ વિજળી કે ગગનના સૂરજ સમી
આભના તારલા કે ના શીતળ પૂનમના ચાંદ સમી
તારી યાદો લાગે મુજને પળ પળ પ્રાણવાયુ સમી
મારુ જીવન ને તુજ યાદો,બન્ને જલતા જ્વાળા મહી ..વ્હાલી તારા
હોળીના બે જ દ્રષ્યો, સળગે હોળી બીજુ ઉડે ગુલાલ
મારે રદય વિરહની હોળી ભલે ઉડાડે સૌ ગુલાલ
બળતી આ મીણબત્તી કેમ બમણું તેજ આપી રહી?
હસતાં વદને બનેં છેડે, સદાય મેં બાળ્યા કરી! ….વ્હાલી તારા
